GOVERNMENT OPPORTUNITY INTELLIGENCE · HUMAN REVIEWED

Sell to government with better opportunity decisions.

Edge Procurement Intelligence helps UK businesses selling products, services or works to government find relevant opportunities, understand why they fit and decide where to invest bid effort. Your capability profile—not a hard-coded sector—drives the search and assessment.

  • Digital and technology
  • Construction and infrastructure
  • Professional services

  • Defence and security
  • Manufacturing and engineering
  • Energy, nuclear and research

THE OUTCOME

A decision-ready brief

Receive a concise assessment of the opportunity, your evidenced fit, decisive gaps, timing, likely bid effort and the questions that still need answering.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Ranked opportunity radarMatches ordered by assessed supplier fit, highest first, with a direct link to the official opportunity or source notice.
Explainable supplier fitMatched, missing and uncertain criteria shown separately—never invented.
Bid/no-bid supportBounded recommendations with disqualifiers, evidence gaps and decisive factors.
Bid planning starterClarification questions, evidence checklist, work plan and deadline schedule.

COVERAGE ACROSS GOVERNMENT

One supplier profile, multiple routes to public-sector work.

We monitor the sources relevant to the agreed profile, starting with official UK notices and extending to published pipelines and sector routes where available. Coverage can include:

Open competitions

Find a Tender and Contracts Finder notices, including new notices, amendments and deadlines.

Framework routes

Frameworks, dynamic markets and call-off routes relevant to the supplier’s offer.

Earlier signals

Pipeline publications, preliminary market engagement and prior information notices that support capture planning.

Buyer context

Relevant buyer portals, previous awards and sector-specific sources, clearly labelled as live, pipeline or historic intelligence.

No service can guarantee every notice: portals, coverage and publication practices change. We record sources, gaps and unresolved checks rather than claiming false completeness.

ANONYMISED ILLUSTRATIVE ASSESSMENT

Specialist engineered protection system for a regulated research environment

A realistic engineering example of the judgement, evidence boundaries and next actions included in a customer brief. The same capability-led method applies across digital, construction, professional services, health, facilities, defence, manufacturing, energy and other public-sector markets. Buyer, supplier, project, dates and identifying technical details have been anonymised.

Opportunity · highest assessed fitEarly supplier engagement for design, manufacture, testing and delivery of a movable protection system. Live customer briefs include a direct hyperlink to the official notice; this anonymised example intentionally omits it.
StagePre-procurement engagement. Route, final specification, value and timetable remain subject to confirmation.
Initial fitAmber–green: credible strategic fit, but not enough verified evidence for an unconditional bid decision.
Recommended postureEngage and qualify. Protect bid cost until the mandatory evidence and delivery model are confirmed.

What the evidence supports

Assessment areaPositionEvidence boundary
Technical relevancePotential matchPublished scope aligns with declared design and fabrication capability; detailed interfaces are not yet available.
Regulated deliveryPotential strengthRelevant experience is claimed, but comparable references and acceptance evidence must be verified.
Capacity and timetableUnconfirmedNo assumption is made about engineering capacity, long-lead materials or delivery slots.
ComplianceQualification gateRequired standards, security, quality and site-access conditions need confirmation from the procurement documents.
Bid / no-bid viewProceed to a bounded qualification review. Do not approve a full bid until mandatory requirements, commercial route and delivery capacity are evidenced.
Commercial questionsConfirm packaging, evaluation approach, liability position, buyer-furnished information and whether consortium delivery is permitted.
Evidence to assembleTwo comparable references, quality credentials, design authority, manufacturing capacity, indicative programme and named delivery team.
Immediate actionsRegister interest, attend engagement, submit targeted clarifications, test partner needs and make a gated resource decision.

Decision risks and triggers

  • Stop or partner: mandatory clearance, certification or site-access requirements cannot be met in time.
  • Reprice: interfaces, testing responsibility, liability or long-lead materials transfer disproportionate risk.
  • Proceed: the buyer confirms a viable route, the supplier can evidence comparable delivery and capacity fits the programme.

Illustrative and anonymised—not a live opportunity or procurement recommendation. A customer brief ranks the opportunity radar by assessed fit, highest first; hyperlinks every entry to its official opportunity or source notice; cites every material fact; labels live, pipeline and historic status; records unresolved portal checks; and preserves amendment history.

TRUST BOUNDARY

Evidence before automation

We preserve the source URL, publication and modification times, retrieval status, licence position, completeness and uncertainty. We do not infer certifications, capacity, clearance or experience that a supplier has not provided and verified.

HUMAN CONTROL

You retain the decision

The service does not submit bids, contact buyers, make contractual commitments or present legal and procurement-compliance conclusions as definitive advice.

FOUNDER-LED REVIEW

Experienced procurement judgement—not another alert feed.

Customer briefings are led by James Woods MBA, drawing on senior public-sector procurement, supplier management and complex regulated-market and infrastructure experience. Automation finds and structures signals; accountable human review tests relevance, evidence gaps and the practical bid decision before delivery.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Share only what is needed.

We use your agreed capability profile to assess opportunities and keep customer records private. Do not provide classified, export-controlled or security-sensitive material. You can refine the profile whenever a result shows that the search boundaries need changing.

QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASE

Clear answers before you commit.

Is this another tender-alert subscription?

No. Alerts are filtered against an agreed capability profile and material opportunities receive experienced human assessment with sources, gaps and next actions.

Is the service limited to nuclear or engineering?

No. Those are examples of founder experience and an illustrative assessment. Monitoring is sector-agnostic and is configured around what your organisation sells, where it can deliver, suitable contract values, exclusions and evidence.

Can you guarantee we will find or win every opportunity?

No. Sources can be incomplete or change. The service improves discovery and decision quality; it cannot guarantee buyer decisions or contract awards.

Will you handle confidential bid material?

Only proportionate business information needed for the agreed service. Do not send classified, export-controlled or security-sensitive material.

When does delivery start?

After cleared payment, completed onboarding and written confirmation of the capability profile, exclusions, priority sector and start date.

Can we stop a subscription?

Yes. Cancel Core or Plus in Stripe before the next billing date. Service continues to the end of the paid month and no further charge is taken.

Can we speak before buying?

Yes. Request a 20-minute fit call or email hello@edge-agents.ai.

Not ready to order?

Tell us enough to assess fit for one of the first three founding-pilot places. Submitting this form creates no commitment or purchase. If you prefer, email hello@edge-agents.ai.
